Gulliver's Kingdom Ride Guide
Gulliver's Kingdom, Matlock Bath, is set into breathtaking countryside, a real gem of a location, something to set your Gulliver's travels off to a great start! The theme park is divided into six main areas, each area offering its own imaginary world for your family to explore.
From the alpine freshness that is Little Switzerland to Fantasy Terrace where your dreams are kept alive, there is so much to see and do. Gulliver's Kingdom prides itself on providing family fun and therefore all the rides are centered on being exciting but not scary. Toddlers and adults alike are catered for at this fun seekers paradise.
Gulliver's Kingdom Park Areas:
Bourbon Street
Bourbon Street is the home of classic rides such as the Horses' Carousel, the Ferris Wheel and the Ball Crawl. With a designated under 5's play area this is where to head for fun for the little ones. All wannabe adventurers love the tantalizing Pirate Ship and the new Fire Brigade Ride. All this to be found just inside the main entrance.
Fantasy Terrace
Fantasy Terrace is a magical woodland area, encompassing rides such as the Dodgems, The Diggers, The Ball Shoot and Flight of Fantasy. Again, this is another sort after area, towards the centre of the park, for all the family to discover.
Lilliput Land
This is the ultimate fairytale land and the largest of the six Gulliver's Kingdom areas, one of the highlights being Geppetto's house which sets the scene for a magical installment to your day at Gulliver's. Other capturing rides include the Crazy Barrel Ride, Rio Grande Train Ride, Veteran Cars and much, much more...
Little Switzerland
Little Switzerland is the furthest area from the main entrance but well worth the wander over. It is the home of the log flume, the Royal Cave exhibition and the dancing water show. There is lots to see and ride in this Swiss wonderland!
Palais Royale
Nearer to the main entrance to Gulliver's Kingdom, this area is not to be missed. This area has the Log Roller Coaster. This is one of many rides in this area, which also includes the Switchback, cycle monorail, Talking Apple and Billy Bobs Bi-planes make for a wondrous day out at Gulliver's Kingdom.
Party House
The most interactive of the six areas at Gulliver's Kingdom, Party House has a huge sandpit and an awesome Jungle Ball Crawl. Once the kids are worn out on the rides, the Cartoon Theatre will entertain them to the end of the day. A whole host of interactive activities make this a popular kids hide out!
